Ex RACING ICE 2 is the annual Army Novice, Junior and Senior Ice Sport Championship to be held in Igls Innsbruck, Austria

The Exercise comprises of a training week followed by a race day.
Ex RACING ICE 2 is open to all army personnel from regular and reservist units. All participants must be medically fit, have an annual membership with the Army Winter Sports Association (AWSA) and be members of the Army Sports Lottery (ASL), holding a full complement of tickets. Only individuals who have successfully completed a Novice Ice Camp may drive a 2-man, skeleton or luge bobsleigh. Absolute novices may attend but ONLY as a 2-man Bobsleigh Brakeman or in exceptional circumstances at the discipline Chairman’s discretion.
Exercise Racing Ice I (2016) is the Army Winter Sports Associations’ (AWSA) annual introduction to Ice Sports event. For the purposes of this exercise Ice Sports includes the disciplines of Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton.

Week Two, Students Leave UK 03/12. Arrive 04/12, Slide 05/12 to 09/12, All Depart 10/12
Participants are only able to practice one of the three disciplines during their time in resort. All participants must be a current member of the AWSA (£15 per year). Failure to adhere to this will result in your application being rejected. Participants who are members of the Army Sports Lottery (ASL) will have their entry fee reduced pro rata, dependent on the amount of tickets held, (£25 per ticket).
