After an immensely successful Army Winter Sports season 2022/23, the DCGS has authorised season 2023/24 in full. The AWSA will publish detailed direction via DIN at the end of May and applications for authority to conduct winter sports will open at the same time. Corps committees should anticipate minimal changes in policy and begin preparations to interact with the AWSA annual cycle.
This is excellent news for the soldiers and officers who eagerly await the opportunity to conduct challenging and demanding training on snow and ice!
