The AWSA has received the following updates from the Defence Section Austria and the GSO in Germany:
Austria – Owing to an increase in Omicron cases in Austria the Defence Section will not accept any further applications for DIPCLEAR until such time the situation changes. They have asked that applications are not sent until further notice.
Germany – Again an increase in Omicron cases in southern Germany has resulted in the German Medical Authority advising that no further DIPCLEAR application will be accepted until further notice. All currently agreed DICLEARs have been rescinded with immediate effect.
Teams and Individuals currently deployed should return to the UK.
